Studio style equine portraiture.

I started creating the Signature Art Series many many years ago, before it became popular. I actually use to paint portraits of horses with oil on black velvet 20 years ago. I loved the effect so much I wanted to replicate that painterly feel with photos. I use studio techniques to emphasise baroque and renaissance dramatic lighting on dark background or post-modern vibrant on light background.
